A century-old company
Founded in 1888, from its very beginning Indcar worked on the manufacture of bodyworks. It spent its first years building carriages and stagecoaches. Currently the company is specialized in the manufacture of bodyworks for minibuses used in passenger transport. Our mission is to guarantee our customers a product for an efficient, safe and comfortable transport.
Innovation is part of our DNA. Innovation means moving forward, and is our base for creating a more efficient and higher quality product every day. Our philosophy is to make out of design, comfort and creativity the growth levers in order to be more competitive and continuously improve the product.
He founded a workshop for the manufacture of wooden carriages in Arbúcies.

Located at the foot of Montseny massif, in Girona (Spain), it is the central headquarter of the group. With more than 140 workers and a production of 240 vehicles per year, in this centre is concentrated the manufacture of the Wing, Mago2 and Next models.
INDCAR Bus Industries
Brasov / Rumanía
Located in Brasov, Romania. It has a team of 80 workers and a production of almost 210 vehicles per year. This plant mainly manufactures the Mobi and Strada models

New projects
International ETRADE 2021
We are continuously working on INDCAR’s internationalization process. This project we have promoted thanks to ACCIÓ’s International eTrade grant, with the aim of activating new digital channels to expand international sales.
Cupón Green 2022
The company INDUSTRIAL CARROCERA ARBUCIENSE, S.A. has developed the project “Diagnosis and Roadmap for Circular Transformation and Climate Neutrality,” which has been subsidized with the support of ACCIÓ within the framework of the Competitiveness Coupons: Climate Change Coupons program.
The project consisted in starting a circular transformation process to move towards climatic neutrality, as well as obtaining recommendations to mitigate the change. From there, a strategy had been defined. This one will help us identify the main circular transformation projects, the most convenient for the company, and adapting to its needs.
This will allow us identify and drive opportunities for the circular transformation, and the reduction of emissions.
Digital Innovation Hub 2022
INDUSTRIAL CARROCERA ARBUCIENSE, SA. has developed the “Cybersecurity Diagnostic, Pentesting, and Mitigation Plan” project, which has been subsidized with the support of ACCIÓ within the framework of the Industry 4.0 Coupons program for testing advanced digital technologies – Digital Innovation Hub 2022.
The project consisted of a cybersecurity diagnostic of INDCAR’s infrastructure, accompanied by a pentesting phase, and the final definition of a Risk Mitigation Measures Plan.
Another project developed by the company was the “Study of Sensor Implementation in Molds for Composite Manufacturing,” which was funded with the support of ACCIÓ as part of the Industry 4.0 Coupons program for testing advanced digital technologies, also part of the Digital Innovation Hub 2022.
The project consisted of conducting a proof of concept and validating results for the application of sensorization and monitoring of molds in the manufacture of composite parts, with the ultimate goal of optimizing the manufacturing process of composite parts for INDCAR bodywork.
Industry 4.0 Coupons
INDUSTRIAL CARROCERA ARBUCIENSE, SA. has developed the project “Development of a Security Master Plan for IT Infrastructure,” which has been subsidized with the support of ACCIÓ under the L2 – Industry 4.0 Coupons program.
This project consisted of conducting a cybersecurity diagnosis of our infrastructure, divided into three different phases.
The first focused on a security audit, the second on a pentesting test, and the third and final phase generated the final reports: the Security Master Plan, the Risk Analysis, and the Urgent Security Measures.
