INDCAR generated revenues of more than €50 million in 2024, an 11% increase over the previous year, closing the year with a record number of units sold and enjoying a solid recovery in results.
Of INDCAR’s total sales, 90% are exported, representing €42 million. These figures reflect the company’s year-over-year growth in Europe, with Italy (55%) and France (25%) as the main exporting countries.
At a national level, the company has achieved a sales increase of over 11% compared to the previous year. This market is dominated by the Wing, the tourist model, which has seen its strongest impact, increasing its overall production by 60%.
However, the company’s most popular model last year has been the Mobi City, which saw another year of year-on-year growth in sales and thus consolidating its leadership position, with a total of 320 units produced, representing 67% of total production.
In this regard, it is worth noting that 2024 was also the year of the e-B6 electric minibus, which has undergone real-life operational testing for eight months in more than 10 cities and has accumulated more than 5,000 km in Spain, working with operators such as Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), Teisa, Sagalés, Alsa, and the EMT of Málaga. It was also presented to the ATUC technical committee and congress on two occasions. “A vehicle that has been well received by the public for being 100% produced in Europe, its range, and manoeuvrability,” notes Gaël Queralt, CEO of INDCAR.
Expectations for 2025 focus on expanding its presence in new strategic markets, strengthening its position in Europe, and exploring opportunities in other regions with high demand for efficient and sustainable mobility solutions. This approach will allow INDCAR to increase its turnover and sales, diversifying its customer base, and strengthening its global presence.
“We are very satisfied with the results achieved in 2024. Not only have we achieved record figures, but we have also taken important steps in our international expansion. We remain committed to offering high-quality products and solutions tailored to the needs of the global market,” said Gaël Queralt, CEO of INDCAR.
Commitment to talent, key to driving the future
To ensure the execution and success of INDCAR’s strategic plan in the coming years, the company is investing in an internal organizational and cultural change, where strengthening its human team will play a key role.
This plan includes the incorporation of new professionals in key areas, with the aim of strengthening its operational capabilities, driving innovation, and consolidating its international growth. This talent acquisition and development strategy will allow INDCAR to face the new challenges of the sector with greater strength and efficiency, ensuring excellence in its products and services.
In this regard, the executive notes that “since 2023, we have increased our workforce by 18%, hoping to reach 20% by 2025. We are clear that the 285 people who currently make up INDCAR are a key element in the company, and that is why we are committed to internal workforce development. Even so, to complete a broader, customer-focused ecosystem, we are currently seeking new talent in areas such as sales, engineering, purchasing, and technology.”
