From June 4 to 7, INDCAR attended the World Public Transport Summit at the Fair of Barcelona, with the aim of exclusively presenting our new 100% electric minibus.
Every two years, the International Union of Public Transport (UITP) organizes a world meeting to present the latest developments in the transport and logistics sector. At this edition, everybody focused on a single theme: sustainable mobility.
For this reason, the UITP event was the perfect setting to present our new emission-free vehicle model, which draw the attention of numerous visitors and authorities during the days of the fair.
What are the advantages of INDCAR’s 100% electric minibus?
The TMB operator will test the INDCAR electric minibus in Barcelona
On June 5, within the UITP, took place the official signing of the collaboration agreement between TMB (Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona) and INDCAR for testing the first 100% electric minibus in Barcelona.
Gerardo Lertxundi, TMB CEO, Jacobo Kalitovics, TMB Bus Director, and Gaël Queralt, INDCAR CEO participated in the signing.
For a period of three months, the first electric minibus will circulate on all lines in Barcelona, which will allow its operation to be assessed in real conditions, as well as the maximum performance of the batteries. The tests will be carried out intensively, starting next July until September.
The weather and the huge number of visitors that we find in Barcelona in July and August will put the electric minibus to the test in demanding conditions, allowing us to assess its manoeuvrability and comfort
