INDCAR announces the reactivation of its collaboration with ProBus for vehicle distribution in Germany. This agreement is part of the company’s European expansion strategy for 2025. Furthermore, within the framework of this renewed alliance, both companies recently participated in the BUS2BUS trade fair in Berlin, where they jointly presented the INDCAR vehicle range built on Mercedes-Benz chassis. Regarding the reactivated alliance, Gaël Queralt, CEO of INDCAR, explains, “Germany is a market with great potential within the European Union and a strong presence in the minibus segment. Although we have worked with ProBus in the country in the past, this new collaboration aims to recover and strengthen the INDCAR brand’s presence and recognition among local transport operators.” Queralt emphasizes that “ProBus is the ideal partner due to its close relationship with end customers, prior experience in collaboration, its robust sales and after-sales service network, and its own workshop. This allows us to offer comprehensive coverage for the needs of the German market.” For his part, Christoph Schultz, CEO of ProBus, points out that “as ProBus, we have been in the German market for over 20 years. We were looking to add new, high-quality midibuses on Mercedes-Benz chassis to our portfolio, from a partner who understands our market and our needs. We have known INDCAR for a long time and know that our approach to quality is on par. We were looking for a partner who could face with us the challenges that electric mobility will bring in the coming years.” Opportunities in the German Market The models that will represent INDCAR in Germany are the Spica and the Shaula, designed on Mercedes-Benz chassis. These two vehicles stand out for their superior capacity and premium design, offering a solution tailored to the needs of operators in the country. Regarding market trends, the ProBus executive adds that “over the past 10 years, the midibus market has suffered from a lack of competition in chassis availability. We believe there are opportunities to fill this gap with INDCAR’s Shaula and Spica models, as we can offer what our customers are looking for: a high-quality body on a high-quality chassis. There will also be opportunities for other INDCAR products, especially the various Mobi models in the Iveco range.” In the medium term, INDCAR expects to increase its market presence and achieve sustained growth. ProBus’s operations in Germany will be conducted from the distributor’s own facilities, which include a showroom, technical service, and local stock, ensuring comprehensive support for all customers in the country.
